I sold my 65 skylark last year and have regretted it ever since. The motor went out and I needed the money. Now that im financially stable, I wish I still had it. Anyways, I'm looking for a running 65 skylark coupe hard top in decent condition. Or i'm looking for a 60-68 Chevy/gmc p/u, long or short bed, non step-side, with a running V8. :3gears:
Do you mean 60-66 on the truck? The body style changed in 67 and stayed basically the same until 72(67-72 = best looking p/u's ever imo)
Might not be what you are looking for, but if I was in the market it would be at the top of my list. http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/cars-sale/350091-1965-buick-skylark-gn-hybrid.html
I do know the feeling! My 65, along with all my other cars are gone. Mine are due to divorce though. My time will come and I'll have another 65 soon, just not soon enough. Check this one out. Good price and it's got a 350. http://v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=230821
Yes 66. Typeo, my bad. That generation isnt bad, I just like how the front end looks on the earlier years.
Yeah I saw that one 65, out of my price range, the thing is cherry. Thanks for the lead on the other one. Not too far away from me.
Wow, I hate to hear you sold your car because of a failed motor. I can't give away my excellent running motor and trans out of my 65. Should have been an easy and cheap find for you.
Here's another sort-of close one for you to consider. I cannot say for sure, but this may be one that was listed about 6 months ago for around $2500 and took awhile to sell. http://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/cto/2443077083.html
May be a dumb question, why does he say its an original 300 nailhead? Arent the nail heads heads flat on the top? Hence the name nail head?
