While I wasn't born until '84, I watched hours and hours of TV Land while in Middle and High School and I have to say some of the 70's programming beats the sox off most of whats out there today. Sanford and Son, All In the Family, Welcome Back Cotter, and M*A*S*H were the ones I watched most. "Stifle ya self", Patrick
Anyone remember these.. Dark Shadows Mayberry RFD Gunsmoke The Rifleman Did anyone mention Bonanza? Although not a TV series, I always enjoyed "Chiller Theater" I think it was on Friday nights? They played scary movies. The opening scene was the hand coming out of the swamp and the voice saying "Chiller". Ring a bell with anyone? Jason
I remember all of them . Bonanza and also bewitched were a later 60's show that carried over to the 70's . Heres a question for everyone ........ What commercial was always showed on Bewitched and Bonanza ? Same company with different commercials ..... o No:
Diggers Daughter First episode of Dallas as Bobby brings Pamela home to Southfork Original air date 02-Apr-1978
Well, I thought Dallas was in the 70's. The Dukes of Hazzard first episode was in Jan. 1979 according to one of their web sites. I was in the third grade. Simple times!! Like to go back in time on occasion and pick my nose for the fun of it.
Dukes of Hazzard PILOT, 01/26/79 - "One Armed Bandits" When Boss and Rosco try to bring Vegas to Hazzard, Bo and Luke manage to hijack the slots, saving the orphanage and Rosco's job. If you haven't seen this episode, you ain't a duke fan.
I remember back in 1981 my co pilot driving cross country in my tractor trailer had to stop every time that darn Dallas show was on . ou: Not sure when it first aired but I do remember stopping that truck .. :spank: p :TU:
Dallas and The Dukes both came on Friday nights. I watched the first episodes of both and continued for several years (skipped those episodes with Coy and Vance). No school the next morning made it even better.
