replacing push rods

    i have to replace one bent push rod. should i replace the rest while im at it or not?

    Pushrods don't bend unless there is a problem causing that to happen. If you are thinking that changing all of them out will keep this from happening again, then that isn't correct.

    I like to change out pushrods when

    1) going with new cam / lifters and / or rocker arms.

    2) On the rare occurance that they are plugged with deposits and not letting the oil through to the rocker arms.

    he bent a pushrod from an over-rev, though.

    Then, I'd invest in valvesprings and pushrods :)
