I am trying to get the nerve up to replace my weatherstripping around my side windows and also the roof rail weatherstripping, Does anyone have any helpful tips for a first timer? I don't know why this worries me so much, It looks pretty sraight foreward but I am worried that I will get in over my head.

roof rail is easy. Just rip out the old stuff. Scrape out any old residue. Put some 3M black weatherstripping cement in the track and press in the new stuff. Start from the front near the door hinges and work up then back. You may have to cut off excess at rear. Beware the new stuff is harder than the old and power windows may have a hard time sealing against rubber
