I wonder if a battery topper will fit over a dry battery like the "optima" or one of those? Where can I get one? That sounds like the best way to go. :Brow:
Joe, You can check my "topper" out during the show on Saturday. Do a search on ebay "battery topper" and they are there. I bought mine directly from the manufacturer (can't find the link ), the price was about the same. Stay away from the post extenders, they are only held on by 3 set screws and they tend to lose electrical contact. :beer
Of course, we '72 guys are screwed, as they don't make "toppers" for the side terminal batteries. I dread doing the battery thing for my '72. But IMHO, that's the way to go for the top terminal jobs.... John
