Hi folks, I keep tripping over this bucket full of hinges, figured today was as good a time as any to sell them. I tightened, blasted and had these dipped and coated last year, right before I moved the shop. Have not had a chance to get back to them till now.. I sold one set to Jason last year out of this lot.. but the rest have been sitting. Because of that, I took the time to lay out each set and take pictures. For the most part, sitting has been no issue for these sets, but one set does have a little discoloration.. I show that. All sets are sold exchange.. send your stuff back to me, so we can do more sets and spread the good hood hinges around.. there is a core charge to encourage you to do that, or you can buy them outright. Add the core charge to the exchange price to get the outright sale cost. The core charge is simply what it cost me to acquire these, if I have to buy them off here or ebay, with shipping at associated costs. All hinge sets come with the correct, blasted and coated springs 70-7 A body- correct for all 70-72 Skylark, GS, GSX and Sportwagon.. Both sets here show no shelf wear or discoloration. Price: $119.00 exchange $50 core charge. Set A- sold Set B sold '69 A body- Correct for all 69 Skylark, Sportwagon, and all variations of the '69 GS model. 3 sets here, they all show no discoloration or defect. These are desirable for those of you with 68's, and not building a show car, because they open about 4-5 inches farther than the 68 hinge does. Direct bolt on to the 68 car with no mods. Quit bumping your head! Price: $119 exchange- $75 core charge While I will sell you a set outright, I much prefer that if your just replacing loose/ugly ones on your '69, you send them back to me so we can keep these available for other guys. These are getting harder to find every day. These sets are dry, not coated with a light oil, like the 70-72 sets, so they appear a little different color, and appear to have spots on them.. that's simply what they look like before you wipe them down.. the 70-72 sets were on top and dusty, so I wiped them down.. these looked very nice, so I just took the pic. Set C- Sold Set D Sold Set E (sold) '68 A body- Correct for all 68 Skylark, Sportwagon, and all variations of the GS model. I rarely do these, because most folks with the 68 want the 69 hinges.. but, if your a stickler for details, building a show car, or just short enough that you don't bump your head, then these two sets are available. I have not done these sets for stock in the past, don't plan on it in the future.. I do these on demand only. Set F is show quality- $99 for this set, outright, no core. Set G has slight discoloration on the RH hinge.. $60 for this set- very minor and probably not noticeable installed. But they are not perfect. Since Im the Foist stepchild ... I'll take the nicest set of '69s you've got for my '68 Sporty. Even me, topping out at a whopping 5'7" put a nice gash in the back of my head last year fitting the aluminum rad in. Right here in my office, I have a set of 69's purchased from the board that I was going to have you rebuild for this purpose so we're good on the exchange :Brow:

Hi Jim, Wondering if you have an idea when you will do another batch of restored hood hinges? I have a core set from a '71 to send to you when the time comes.
