wheelz, that sounds great. Vw beetle is one of my favorite car.
( I have 9 new left fenders for Vw beetle, bought 10 15 years ago sold one. )

Hi Joe...I read your request but I forgot to reply..sorry. You are just one step ahead of me... ie: I havent posted this yet but I have one last console idea....
I have ONE GORGEOUS restored chrome pot metal center piece with new woodgrain kit & new shifter felts, AND....a new door lid CHROME trim piece with matching woodgrain kit... this is a complete APPEARANCE kit for someone like you who already has a console but needs to upgrade to show...this setup will transform your old scuffed up/pitted console into a work of art...
I know you are only looking for a console door chrome trim....but I thought I'd throw this idea out to you before I post it.

wow guys! I'm embarrassed to say I am severely unprepared for this kind of response.... I had three console center pieces restored earlier this year and I've since sold two complete consoles.
IN the next few days, I will carefully review all my receipts and post a whole new thread outlining this CONSOLE APPEARANCE UPGRADE deal....Keep a lookout for the new thread soon.
