restoring a 71skylark

been restoring a 71 skylark for three years now....parts are hard to find..sometimes when I get frustrated,I just want to put on ebay...will load photos soon on here,anybody have parts? checked out bm455,does have alot but none I need.My dash was up for sale from canada but never relisted.so I am sos. and interchange is another issue I am having!! hope the beer holds out!!

If you need parts you have come to the right place. I believe you could build a complete car on this BB. I do not think you could find a better place to get Buick parts, unless your name was George and you lived in Florida where all the Buick owners go to die. :laugh:

Sorry thats funny George , you do have more than your fair share of the older citizens there . I bet a few Buicks have ended up at Georges place .

I appreciate all replys,my work takes me away often so I cann not work on my buick as much as I would like.Yesterday I got to wet sand and put a coat of primer on the driver side,it is no where near ready to paint,but I keep it as clecn as I can,I need many parts and have stopped looking on ebay since I stumbled onto this site,I will be adding a photo so everyone can see my progress,aside from all the cosmetics,the interior need work too,I recently bought some nice gray for it.Is anyone going to the Buick event in Indianapolis Raceway Park? June 28 thru July 1st.
