FOR years I have admired deep dish Riviera wheels, will they fit on a Skylark/Gs car? thanks Ken

The big car factory wheels are 5 X 5 bolt pattern. The GS are 5 X 4 3/4.

Deep dish Riv wheels? Where? I believe the widest are 7" and most are 6". Im considering re drilling my axles and drum's to go 4.75 x 5 so I can get some 8 - 10 wides on the Riv.

That is correct. Most are 15 x 6. Rim #895 was used from 71 through 85 from what i have learned on this site.

In addition, I think the studs for Riv wheels are bigger in diameter.

    Yes, 1/2" verses 7/16".

Any drawback to using 2wd Chevy truck/van wheels on a Riv? I believe they are 5x5" pattern.

If they will clear the massive brake drums you can use them. My first set of aftermarket wheels were US indy aluminum slots. Once I got em all polished up and to mount Found that they would not clear the fins. Had to cut off and smooth out the drums to make them fit.
