Looks like the Arkansas booze runners decided to drop a 455 in the 64 Riviera. Dual 4's up for sale. Hey man, gotta stay ahead of those revenuers and G-men!:blast: Take a look at the background in the bottom pic with the intake on the hood. Gator and T-bone gotta be workin' the "still" behind the shack. ...or is this the set of an old Bert Reynolds Movie. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=36474&item=2458151864 Do you think they'll take Paypal? Rick
I just found his post discussing the intake. I meant no harm by it. I merely pointed out the car looks pretty tough and the picture looked as if it could be from a movie set. My apologies to all. Rick
:TU: It was funny, but the v8buick community has grown so much that most of the Buick stuff on ebay right now probably has connections to here somehow. So we all gotta watch what we say, since the sellers will probably be reading the board from time to time. Same goes for cars for sale.....we tend to nit pick the cars on ebay and other sites for sale without realizing the sellers might be one of our buddies here on the board:error: Sorry for the mini-rant, but I'm bored....and waiting for the next snow to come tomorrow night!!:Brow:
I pm'd an apology. You're right, it was out of line. I wouldn't be to happy if my Cat was nit picked if I was trying to sell it. ....but you have to admit the car in that setting looks pretty intimidating. You can just hear the motor growling and the mud slinging as the Riv fishtales out of there. Snow! It's in the 60's here in Houston and that's cold. My oldest kid is 14 and hasn't seen snow. Rick
