    Im thinking its a factory part. It was on there when I got the car.

    Ha thanks, I was thinking a little farther down , like intake , heads, type of headers.

    Ahhhhhhh!

    B4B, Ported/polished stock iron heads with the big valves installed.1.65 Roller rockers. true 10:1 forged pistons. TA 290-08H cam 3/8 push rods and all ARP fasteners all the way through.TA shorty headers into a 2.5" exhaust going into electric cut outs then 40 flow masters with 2" out the back It runs and drives like a much smaller car.

    Thats almost what I had except for i have three inch TA exhaust, dyno max muffs, 5/16 pushrods, shorty with 3 in collector, arp main studs, and arp everything, until my stock connectin rod broke ,

    The new new hood is coming along nicely. Going a slightly different direction with the underside this time. Instead of cutting out everything and having a large open square we cut just what was needed to clear the air cleaner and left about 1/2 the factory bracing intact. Going to seal the back of the cowl as well as around where the air cleaner goes up into the 4" cowl piece. I will get pics as soon as I can. 2 weeks ago I pressured the shop owner into giving me a firm date my car would be done and he said the 22nd. I really don't see that happening but I do see progress. Sure miss my car.
