Hey, Just thought I'd pass along that RM Auctions is holding their huge 25th anniversary here in Chatham, and just wanted to know if anybody planned on coming out? This is mainly for the Ontarians on the Board, as well as anybody from Michigan. check out the link http://www.rmauctions.com/25years/index.cfm This does have larger ramifications (sp) for Buick owners though, as I was asked to lead the parade! HOT DAMN! Now, I've got a serious case of performance anxiety, The Riv isn't exactly "Parade Car Quality," I've got some dings and scratches, and a really big scuff mark just behind the passangfer door, and I DON'T have the money to fix it. This could be interesting come July!
rm carshow trevor: checked the entry form . see the entry fee is $25 . but i will attend . is the car show at their location off of the 401 , east of bloomfield rd ? would be a good time for us local buick owners to get together , be it on the friday night and/or saturday .
Hey Gerry, As far as I can tell, they are doing things all over the Area, most of which is going on at the Location off of the 401, what I have heard is that the cruise night/parade is going to cruise through downtown Chatham, and end up on King street down here. Things are still up in the air but they are thinking about closing off downtown here. It be great to see some other Buicks!, I haven't been here a full summer yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if I've got one of the only Buicks here.

I was thinking it over last night and as of yet I'm not really sure what the cruise is composed of, but I'm starting to think I'm in over my head, I'm calling one of the orginizers tonight to see what they're actually looking for from me. Is there anybody on the list taht has any experience oraganizing something like this? I'd love to "pick your brain" so that I can do the best job possible. Trev
parade leader trevor ; the only function of the parade leader to know the route that he is to follow and to maintain a speed that allows our old cars to cool sufficiently . someone will have to explain to the participants , asked , as to the streets/route to follow & the final destination . s/b a piece of cake . good luck .
