Looks like this weekend on saturday,Dustin and I are taking a big road trip.First,we are heading to Norristown area to pick up the Fiberglass Cowl hood for my 70 Post car then we are venturing up the New Jersey turnpike to Long Island to visit Jason Cook and his stable.I can't wait to get going and if you see us in the BIG-NSTY Teal green Tacoma, give us a wave or stop and buy us lunch  It should take most of the day to complete the trip and we may be really hungry till we get home.Looks like the weather will be on our side too. Pat
You're welcome to swing by here for a couple beers if you want, I'm about 10 minutes from the Goethals bridge. :beer
After Artie`s you guys can stop by me in Astoria for a quick coffee if you`d guys like,i`ll be around, gimme a hollar. Thanks
Artie, Still looking for an a/c box for your car???I have a decent one I can bring along with.Just look for the Tacoma with a glass cowl hood in the back.Funny you mention the bridge as I have a fear of them especially LONG ones.I get all funked out every time I have to cross one.Iabsolutely despise that darn Tappan Zee bridge and I am not looking forward to the Goethals,Verrazano or the GW bridge for that matter.I am such a wimp that I usually get in the inner most lane and drive like a freaking idiot till I get to the other side.I usually get cold sweats and crush the steering wheel while driving.Dustin laughs every time we have to cross this situation.I just don't like them.I can tell you what, nothing against Long Island....but I wont be buying real estate there anytime soon.Unless I wont ever have to leave there. And no I'm not interested in buying a bridge either....lol We may have time to stop and say Hello but not sure of it.Thanks to Jason, you and George for the offers.Oh yeah, See you saturday Jason. Pat
Guess you wont be going to VA via the Bay Bridge & tunnel. One mans pleasue is anothers poison. We enjoy that flying low over the water feel but can understand what you are feeling.
Near your Route You guys will be within 8 miles of my house when you hit the intersection of Rt. 80 and Rt. 81. I'll PM my contact info. If your schedule permits I'll buy you a frosty beverage. If your schedule does not permit keep my # and call if you have problems. Seriously! Steve
