That is just so mean. As he slowly stages and that big cam just jumps her forward. Then he just leaves. I do that at lights in my Buick. If your real lite on the brake pedal the car will surge forward like it has a massive cam.
Loved it! 'Way to go, Rod! I know at Salem, we were probably about 4 "rows" away from the staging lanes. We could hear Rod's very unique engine sound (I'll never forget it after being in a building with it on the dyno!) and knew he was on the move. Congrats! ShariB :TU:
stooooopid Ricer Wondering if while he sat in his car looking over at Rod.....did he think he had a chance ??? "Maybe.....if I stay in the throttle Wayyyy past the finish line, and he pops his 'chute I can do the Ricer Flyby and declare myself victorious !!!"
Civic vs. racecar. Where was the racecaro No: Unless they meant civic racecar,ou: Rod your lucky that guy didn't NOS you. I think I saw that car last weekend in a parade. He and a bunch of his buddies were following each other around in circles in the middle of the street.
LOL, and it even looked like Rod took it easy and still ran an 8.32! Ill have to tell him about this!
I can only imagine what he was thinking when that damn big ol' blower bumped into his side view, not to mention the sound :eek2:
I can't view the video!?!?!!? I bought a new whippy computer and it's telling me my software doesnt' support it.....
I fell outta the chair laughing. However, I hope you gave him some congrats on that blistering 16 second pass he made. A new record.
It's a Windows Media Viewer file. If you have any later version of Windows (98 or newer) it should have the player. If not you can get it here http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/players.aspx Craig
I looked at it a couple of time, and I think it's an 18 second run, not 16. I wonder if he stopped trying?
Too Funny!! I finally got it open. I can't stop laughing. I don't ever really get to see what the other car does. I'm to busy watching what Rod's car is doing. I didn't really miss anything but a good laugh. This must of been taken some time last year at the Grove.
