I have a 2bbl Rodchester on top of my 340ci (350 wildcat). My question is, does Rodchester still make carbs, and do they even still around?? thanx pat
Rochester company isn't around anymore, but Edelbrock stepped into reproducing some of the 4 barrel carbs. http://www.carbs.net/Rochester.asp I just read: Made by Weber....
You can also find many good rebuildable cores on ebay....and put a $15 rebuild kit in them yourself. I've done it many times, and it gets more fun every time I do it!
For real?? I guess I've poked around with them so much that I don't even realize how much trouble it can be. The only real problems I've had with rebuilding carbs is making sure the parts go back together in the right order. Sometimes I find myself forgetting to reinstall the checkball after I pull it out....and I already have the air horn installed again... Just stupid things that I should know, but I forget them in my mindless reassembly.o No: Just take your time and account for everything. Take pictures of where things are located and how they mount if you have to. It's not that hard.
I happen to have about a dozen Buick Qjets lying around...are you looking for a Qjet or a 4jet? Jason
I just wanted to know I was just wondering, see if my 2bbl goed bad i want to put another 2bbl on. thanx for all the info guy and gals pat
