AS ALWAYS BRETT; DO NOT OPEN THE LINK UNLESS YOU RECOGNIZE THE SENDERS EMAIL AS BEING REAL! Scammers these days pick up on website stuff you've looked at (ebay, CL etc) then somehow send you an email (phishing) with something shown that you cant resist. Once you open the link, you've set yourself up for a cyber attack. Example from the other day: "Pat Pelz (my wife) Thought you may like to see this!" Then theres a link provided. Looking at Pats' email address is something like P.Pelz@uivhwrihbiwrhbr.ph. Some bizarre ISP in the Philippines or where ever. The BOTS are becoming aware. Even just opening the email without opening the attachment can land you in a world of kaka. As tough as it may be, even if your sisters name is the sender, LOOK AT THE ISP! DELETE IT if it looks funky. If you know the sender, shoot them an email and ask for a confirmation. I get weird stuff and I hafta blame it on all the facefork stuff going on. I don't go there so its always a red flag for me! These viruses are subtle BTW. Your stuff may not be affected/infected for 6 months, yet every email you send out may be infected. Please be advised and use diligence when looking at incoming stuff. ALWAYS read the senders address. That's MY learned opinion. Others?? Pipe up! Its not the regular old US MAIL we are dealing with here. Below are the honest website links Ive found. Even with this kinda stuff, the feds are watching. Im not overly paranoid, but getting fed up with all the internet BS going on these days! The second link shows that Buick in front with a 70 chevelle. ws http://www.rogueamericanapparel.com/ https://www.google.com/maps/uv?hl=e...d=0ahUKEwi1ps3S2-PXAhXH24MKHTrGCWYQpx8IiQEwCg
I posted the picture more or less to put the feelers out there and see if anyone knew of - or was familiar with the car.
Bill, that is a picture from Instagram. They most likely sent it to Brett through that phone App. No way to pick up a virus. It is a Facebook company, so there is most likely a bunch of data mining going on. You shouldn't worry about Brettski, he's pretty protective of his Instagram account. He sure as heck doesn't let any machine shops follow his page.
Just wanted to be sure... I still use a flip phone with NO TEXTING capabilities. Kinda like playing "twister" with one foot OFF the grid. I graduated from WebTV in about 2005. Still like camshaft driven fuel pumps LOL... ws
