I apologize if this was already discussed somewhere, but I couldn't find anything. I want to replace my body mounts with rubber bushing because my understanding is I will get a much smoother ride compared to polyurethane. The only kits I can find are for polyurethane; I'm wondering if there are kits available with rubber bushings. Are they model-specific? Could I, for example, use a set that was designed for any A-body of that generation?

I have been using the Fusick Olds kits. They work fine on the Buick. Buick generally used 4 mounts under the firewall. Olds used only 2. They may or may not offer the two extras. Olds core support mounts are different however. They are square. Buick are round. You can buy that kit from Cars. I don’t like the full Cars kits however. Buy the correct style bolts from AMK. All the others are gold hardware store specials.
I just ordered the full set from Todd at stage1restoration.com. I haven’t received them yet but I expect the kit to be perfect. Cliff
I do have what I feel are the best kits you can purchase for our Buicks. I had to source these bushings from 3 different vendors to get the right stuff. I have a handful of kits available depending on what you need. More information here https://www.stage1restoration.com/product/body-bushing-kit-best-on-the-market-for-buicks/
I received mine a few days ago, and they're great. The old bushings and bolts that have seen decades of Canadian winters are another story. Haha
