I don't think he was a participant, but he may have been awhile ago. Surely, Dennis "Denny" Holly was a fixture at the races. I've known him as a supporter since the 1990s, and he's a big pal to another Portland, MI resident - Dan Jensen. I read this morning on Facebook that Dennis succumbed to cancer. Today I am sad - a gentler, nicer guy doesn't exist. ray:
Gosh I was not expecting to read this just now. I didn't know Denny was sick. This is very somber news. I really liked Denny Holly. He was a fixture at the PSD's and could not have been cooler to my son and I over the years. The world is a darker place today without him. Rest in Peace Denny. Condolences to his family and friends.
