I love this car, clean, green, and mean. Plain jane sleeper. There are a few hints its not a typical grocery getter. 1) Rumble 2) big tires 3) 3 inch exhaust
The only way to get a picture of this scream machine was when it was parked! Man like taking a picture of a red bullet
Awesome engine. Sweet sleeper. Bet alot of people see that. :Brow: Very cool burnouts. :TU: That opel is just wicked, even sitting still! Congrats Gary. You got some very nice pictures there Doug. :TU: :TU:
Hi, is the green car a two door post? Or is it the way its painted that makes it look that way. I looked at a 68 "california" GS I think it was called that was a two door post body. That was the first two door post car I ever saw. Tom
The green car with the dog dish caps is a two door post. GS clone (so to speak). They didn't make a post GS in 72. Real nice guy, he was behind me in staging lanes one day and we got to talking about it for a few minutes while waiting to run. It's a beautiful car. The Calif GSs were (350) post coupes. Ken McMillan drove down from Duluth MN with his 69 and ran a 13.88 on street tires. Very impressive.
The motor is from bruce hunters beautiful and FAST 71 gs455 the green car is a post and it belongs to Steve Slaghter hope i spelled it ruight Steve.
Got to meet Ken on Sat. when he inquired about some post doors my buddy had. Swell guy. I got to meet you on Friday, I believe, Mike. I forget who intoduced me though. Got to talk to his dad in tower side bleachers on Saturday. Another nice guy. I think he said he was from Toledo. I think he said Steve came in from Dayton, OH.
cars How about that Jag...under $10K invested and turning some quick times! Pulled the body from a junkyard! - Bill
