That is the second Boss 429 scam ad I've seen on E-bay in the last two weeks. The other was a green car buy it now for $7500. Both had little info and only one picture.......
I'd like too.......wanted a Boss 429 for quit a while and had sick thoughts of "if I sell everything I would only have to finance......" Now that I lost $7500 when the buy it now didn't pan out I don't see it happening anytime soon. :laugh: :laugh: I'll bet that black Mustang can be had for $2500 All kidding aside, I wonder how many if any have seriously bid on these obviously shady listings.
Let's jerk his chain. A bunch of guys bid on a 69 SS Camaro that had a "buy it now" of $6900. Last I saw, it was up to $125,000 before the auction got pulled. Just because he says not to bid with out his permission and e-mail him directly means he wants to bleed lots of people before the scam goes away. :blast: Lets help him out !! :blast:
I just checked it and the listing is no longer a "buy it now." The prior bids were all cancelled with a note saying to contact him before bidding. I bid $45
There was and is now a scam on a 67 W-30 on ebay. I reported the seller to ebay and now he is back with a new user name. I know for sure that he got a 2800.00 check from a friend of mine even after I told him it was too good to be true. One born every minute.
i turne d onre into e-bay last week on a gsx with a buy it of 6500.no matter where you clicked on the listing it had a window pop up saying e-mail me first before bidding.e-mailed the guy and it was in france suposedly.same person had 3 other cars listed and were all the same set-up :spank:
I reported it to Ebay, so it should be removed within 24 hours. Im now the high bidder at 25,000 :laugh: My high bid is 125,000....so nobody try and outbid me!!! :Brow: :Brow: Lets have some fun with this bozo!!!
