    Howdy all
Just got back from pulling a 455 at a yard that is not very well worked in this area. The 455 was in a 72 lesabre two door. The car was parked around 85. The lady was down to 150 bucks for the complete with air breather and all acc. :Brow:
We needed the heads to put on a 75 455 that will live in Bill's ElCamino:laugh: Finally no more chevy 350.
When he pulled the heads one of the exh. valves was cracked on both heads? they we holes 2 and 7 Any ideas? Also will a 430 cast intake fit the 455. She (at the yard) Has several 430 motors.
Also looking for a good shop in the Tulsa or OKC area to build the heads. After my last out of state NIGHTMARE:af: I would rather find someone I can talk to in person!

    Mark,

I used Carbone Racing ( 3907 East Admiral Place, Tulsa 835-6596) for my 455. Great work, they listened to me and answered all questions I had and were quick getting it back to me. They only did my short block, had my heads done by Jim @ P.A.E., but you might check with them on your heads.

Good to see some more buicks in the Tulsa area.

Go back to the yard after checking the numbers to see if any of the 430 heads are the "good" uns. If so, grab'em.
