I have been reading and seeing alot of people discussing seatbelts on here lately. I read somewhere that the deluxe all metal stainless belts are rare?
    Is this an accurate statement?
Also I am wondering what would be the value of a complete set of 70 Deluxe black belts in great condition? Does the year effect the price? Where the alsoavailable in 71,72 in skylarks and GS's?

    Any help would be great!
This is something I know nothing about

    Thanks
    Dustin

Dustin, yes they were available. As for the year affecting the price. To some yes, to some no. If they are into date codes then yes, it affects it big time. I know its a generic answer, but that is what I find. On ebay I have sold complete black sets like you have for up to $240, I have never received anything less that $140 for a nice set and that is usually at the car shows. I usually do better on ebay because with the date codes it appeals to all the GM models.

Just as an fyi, I once had a set that it was so bad it couldn't be salvaged. The buckles wore very bad and the stitching was shot on the belts, so I cut the date codes tags off and sold them for around $30 if my memory serves me righ.

Dustin, if you have or ever want to sell a deluxe black set of belts, hit the Pontiac guys up. I know just about every set I ever sold were to those guys.
    Take it easy.
