Ok, this sounds like a stupid question.

On my 69 Skylark I bought about a month ago and been working though several problems since, I noticed there is no way to connect the shoulder harness to the lap belt. The car doesn't have the owners manual, and it's been a while since I've been around this old of a car. My memory is lacking in regards to seatbelts since back in the good old days we never wore them!!! :Dou:

I think someone may have changed out the belts since there are codes on the lap buckles. Drivers 1O84 (1Q84 ??) Pass 5363 (???)

I'd really like to have working shoulder belts, especially when I take my daughter for a ride. :TU:

    Thanks in advance!! :beer

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

    They never connected.

You use one female buckle for the lap belt and another female buckle for the shoulder belt. So for the front seat.......bench...you actually have 5 female belts...........3 for lap belts (includes one for a person sitting in the center) and 2 for the shoulder belts.

    Ahhhhh OK

Makes sense, I know I can connect the lap belt or the sholder belt to the female end. Seems that someone has removed a few of the female ends from my front seat since there are only two female ends there, one for each side with no center pass belts at all. Thanks for the info.
