What is your fuel pressure at WFO?

How tight is the air valve spring on your carb?

I have answered related posts several times, and there are times where looking up other posts may help. In this case, Qjet carbs are known for "eating" the secondary metering rod hanger. This causes the air valves to open, but the rods not moving causes a very lean mixture. Try this... with the engine off, open the air valve with your finger. If the rod hanger rises with air valve opening, that is not the problem. let's start with that. Ray
