Secondary air valve spring question

So, I have been doing some tuning lately and so far, I have the
cruise and idle tuned in pretty well. I plan to work on the WOT
turning at the drag stirp this weekend.

I will probably take the car to the dyno in a few weeks and I was
thinking while the car is on the dyno, I can watch the secondary
air valve open and maybe make some adjustments to the spring.

So, my question is, what rpm should I expect to see the air valve
start to open and when should I expect to see it at full open?

The motor is a mostly stock 455 with a _very_ mild cam and the q-jet
    is an 800cfm model.

I would recommend doing the secondary airvalve tuning at the drag strip. Keep loosenning it until the car bogs at full throtle out of the hole, then tighten it back up just enought to fix the bog.
