This must be buried elsewhere so I'm sorry to ask it again. But on the verge of making reservations wondered... Most of the hotels say they will have security. My question is which nights. Starting Thurs or Fri, and ending Sat or Sun nights? All the same?
Mike, I believe the chamber of commerce set up the hotel securities for friday and saturday nights. This would be for the hotels on our list (with security) other then the host hotel, which we took care of. You might want to ask when making the reservations, but some of the hotels on our list (with security) are sold out. Duane
Marco, The arrangements we made with the Chamber of Commerce were for Friday and Saturday nights only. This is for all hotels on the list that are providing security EXCEPT for the host Hotel. I believe the host Hotel is providing security for Thursday thru Saturday nights. They are providing their own security for both their lot and the lot where we park the trailers as per our agreement with using them as the Host Hotel. We also set up armed security at the track for both Friday and Saturday nights for cars parked in the "GSX reunion" area. No other group has even considered adding security measures to their event, we have gone above and beyond what anyone has expected of us. This has been discussed many times before, but per Mike's request I did it one more time. Duane
