man that video of yours is SICK!!!! I just need a suroundsound to hear it proplerly, 2 crappy comp speakers don't do it justice
With the exhaust on it has a low, deep sound too it. I loved firing the car without exhaust, but my brain was telling me otherwise with the headaches I received, lol.
with all the exciting work going on here in the world of small block buicks, this needs to be bumped back to the top :TU:
I had the engine in the car and noticed some small issues that needed attention, so I sent it back down to Jim. The engine runs awesome. While the engine is down in Texas, Jim is going to see about doing alittle more port work as he found some extra meat that might be able to be removed. Hopefully it'll bring me closer to the 600 mark. I'll keep you all updated. Thanks for bringing this thread back up :TU:
I know this is a very old thread but what DID ever become of this? How much was the final outcome after the porting that was to have been done? Anyone??? Jim???o No:
The engine is currently at Jim's in El Paso, tx. I sold the car it was going into as I had some other projects I wanted to get taken care of. The engine is going to be up for sale shortly.
