I have a 72 GS 350 that all of a sudden will not shift into 2nd until 40 mph and 3rd at 60 mph. I cruises nicely once you get to 3rd and down shifts without a problem. Any help at solving this problem would be appreciated. Thanks!
sounds like the vaccum modulator is not hooked up. It should connect from the back of the manifold into a steel line that goes to the back of the transmission and connects to the transmission with a short rubber line.
Kelly You were absolutely correct. I got under my car and the hose that connects the vacuum line at the transmission had broken off. I put on a new hose and the transmission works great. Thanks alot!
