floor shifter is in and works well. Now to get rid of the column shift bowl. I have prepared a new bowl without shifter holder. Stoped to think ---mine column is a tilt. Is there a differance between a tilt shifter bowl and a non tilt bowl????

Try holding them side by side and see if they are the same length and that should answer your question.

The problem is I don'twant to tear my existing column apart and not have a replacement bowl available. this would require the car to be apart while I modify the existing bowl. Ken

Can't you hold the replacement you prepared up to the one in the car? i can check my old one with the arm with a non tilt I have around but it may take a few days as it is stored somewhere else. Maybe someone else has one at hand.

Just heard from George N. and tilt and non tilt are totally differant. I guess I prepared a bowl for naught. Ken
