Shock and air bag recommendations I just boxed my control arms and found the shocks to be trash. What shocks do you recommended? The car is a 70 Skylark with a 3:90 Posi. It will see limited track and street time for that matter. I plan on leaning on it a lot when it is driven. I plan on stuffing 325'50R15's in the back. Also do I need air bags? The car also has no hop bars
If you boxed your arms....I assume you installed a rear bar? If so, make sure you install the larger 1.25" Trans Am front bar from 70-81 models using polyurethane end kit and mounting bushings. For rear shocks, I use Gabriel Gasmatics.
