If you need a 350, I have about 7 of them sitting around here. I could bring one to you for some gas/beer money next time I'm down that way. It would probably need a rebuild.

Disc brakes are installed, poly bushings also. Ill try to take some pics of the undercarriage when we get it on the lift. Just gonna clean up the firewall and repaint it.

I'm currently putting in the sound deadener and carpet. I have the mfr style black sound deadener, jute backed carpet and some rolls of fat mat. Any suggestions on which to install directly on the floor pan? Right now Im looking at putting the fat mat on the floor first, then the black stuff. Is that normal for only two of the pieces to of the mfr style deadenr to have the peel away sticky part? I bought it from OPGI and expected all of them to have the sticky backing.

So after the car was painted, I put everything back together and there is now about a 1 inch gap between the hood and the top of the grill. Am I missing something? How would that happen? My car is a skylark custom and I put on a 69 GS hood. The only thing I could think of is maybe my core support bushings are wrong. I used a set I bought from OPGI, or is there supposed to be additional trim to the front of a GS hood?

Hey Shooter. I don't have an answer, but I will bump it for you. Lets get a SA Buick group going. I am closer now.

There is no extra trim on a GS hood. Have you lowered the bumpers on the top of the core support? Tony

I didn't get out a measuring tape, but there should be some gap. Do you have a photo?
