Depends on who has it. I found a bunch of TH400 cores in a shop that does old car resto's and drag races on the side. He wanted $250 per core so I picked out a nice '70 GS core then stumbled on a '72 BB so I took that. I've seen good stock units go for $400-$500 some as cheap as $250. Depends on who has it and if they know what they have.

    daward Measure twice, cut once.

I've got a good BOP 400 that I can't unload for $100... take that for what its worth. I've always thought 100-300 is good for a used trans. :Do No:

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

Well, all 73-77 Grand Prix models had them.
Local yard (u-pull) charges me $50 for each.
I have only found two that were recently rebuilt and they went
right into project cars and never had a problem with them.

TH400 seem to be in demand lately with all the BBB conversions and the disappearance of RWD cars from the salvage yards.

I'm picking up a 455 out of a early 70 electra tues. I'll ask what he wants for the 400.
