I have a Type II Shorty console out of a 71 Riv. The top pad is in fairly nice shape. It has a very small split at the very back (I did notice the crack until after I took the pictures but I will add a picture of the crack soon) The crome is nice but does have typical light scuffing and light pits. The release button has a small dent in it Other than the pad all of the pieces are crack and repair free. I think all of the pieces are original finish. It opens and latches well. I'm interested. You said it came out of a 71 Riv. Is it the same style that was used in the skylarks? Will you be going to bowling green?
