Just got my hood scoop I odered from jegs today. Looking at it I should have gone with the 5 inch one off ebay. Not as big as I thought it was going to be. What do you guys think?
I personally don't care for the BIG cowls. I'm looking for a GN hood or one that is cloned from FiberGlass for my Regal. IMO the one you got looks bout right. But hey, it's what YOU like , that's what matters CHEERS Eric
Eric I would love to go with a stock hood or the little hump gn version hood but I went with the stock motor mounts so my motor sets up rather high. So even with a drop base K@N air breather 1 inch spacer and later 1/2 inch nitrous plate. it wouldn't close with a stock hood. And later when I learned that when your hood is close to the carb there's extra turbulances that hurts performance. and under hood temps are raised I went to a 2 1/2 scoop which was still to close. It was more that I had to than wanted to. Thanks for your response :TU:
