One or two cats are fine. For some crazy reason, there are people out there who seem to want to be surrounded by them. I honestly believe that cat hoarding is a mental disorder.
In line for the buckets if you decide to part it out. I need them bad. I have the console and shifter.
I'll let you know. Im going to pull them out next week and evaluate them. They definitely have that moldy, old car that's been sitting interior smell to them. Not sure how to box them up. They're kinda big and heavyo No: I took the grill out. Its in remarkably nice shape. Only one mount on the egg crate section was broken. There was a parts grill in the trunk which had the exact section I needed. I spliced it in. Came out really good. I'll have to take a picture and post it! I removed the console, took it completely apart, scrubbed and polished the chrome. It cleaned up nice. Perfect console for a cruiser or a local show car.
Jason wrote... "Never saw a rally wheel with so much rot!" I suspect the rust was accelerated by repeated and massive doses of cat piss. Did you get that junk up and running yet? It has to live again to die a proper death.
I'll take that moldy old car smell anytime over the multi cat smell that it could have had. Be glad the cats didn't have the run of the car that they did in the house.
Not yet. Tomorrow. The engine's definitely been out. Its been painted and it has a later model V6 timing cover with the plastic timing tab. Im gonna laugh if its got a lope to the idle!

He will climb through pidgen $hit, slizer under dog poo infested crawl spaces, inhale massive amounts of cat piss fumes and spend an afternoon sipping tea and swapping stories with old ladies. He has his ear to the Buick Parts Pipline ready to open the nozzel. Congratulations Jay, another POS to piss off the neighbors. LOL :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
Or as I like to say....when keeping it real goes wrong! I have a term for these cars. I call them, "neighbor slayers". I have to give Mike Modena credit for coining that name though.
Yeah my friend Dave, you met him Jason, the one with the yellow GSX clone, bought the fender. He's working on a 70 that he got from Bruno. The fender not much better than the one on his so if you decide not to part it out we may get that fender back for you. He was going to go back for other parts but it was all gone, as he's telling me this JASON keeps flashing before my eyes. I was right.
No, but I have a GS hood section I'm selling him. I'll tell him you said hello, BTW I left Boar's Head, back with Wonder running out of the old Bohemia depot on Vets.
Jason, do you ever say no to a car? I have to know dude! Ye,a here in Florida (the South East) I got spoiled. Being from Buffalo. NY a car was good till there were no floorboards and your tool box fell through the floor of the trunk as you drove; you,d be on the side of the road looking for all your sockets in the snow. Now if there is rust I pass, just too many good cars yet to worry about saving a rusty one. Mikey
Thanks, I also sold my 71 Gold car, it's going to Michigan. I'm going to work on the Black 71 and sell that, then look for a 70 light project car.
