After reading this thread I thought I'd start a Gulfstream Blue thread. At least at the various Buick get togethers I rarely see them. Here is a shot of mine at my local drag strip from a few weeks ago. It's an original gulfstream blue, # matching Stage 1, black top, blue interior, just as you see it. It's my personal favorite out of all the GS's I've owned.

I had hoped this thread would get a few more cars than two! I recall meeting you, I think you're talking about the Cascade Blue 71 or 72 (it's been both years), solid roof car. It's still around, a good friend of mine owns it now, it has dog dishes and looks great! We also tamed down the combination for the street but it now has headers, SPX intake, aluminum heads etc...he's on the board here, kenny t but he doesn't post often. There has to be more people with Gulfstream Blue cars...

The one I let get away. Unfortunately it's sitting in a warehouse not being driven and the current owner won't sell.
Aaaah, good someone upped this old thread. So at least, I know now what the color of my GS is called. Car has been originally white and repainted sometime by a previous owner. Don't now if it is exactly gulfsteam blue, but it has to be close based on the pictures in this thread. Cheers Carsten
I am currently working on a 70 GS 455 4spd in Gulfstream with black bucket interior and black vinyl top.
