My Sis has an 04 anniversary addition Mustang. Has the 5.0 engine 5 speed man trans and all the usual Mustang bolt on go fast goodies along with a 3:73 gear and some cams. It was dyno tuned and she says makes over 400hp. Its built as a show car and usually wins best of show everywhere it goes. Ive driven and and rode in it, its fast no doubt. Yesterday she finally got up enough courage to take it down the track. After 5 passes she called me out. Tree'd her with a .073 light and just drove away. beat her by 2 seconds. Theres a lot to be said for traction. I'll give it to her,if she could have hooked up it would be a much different story as that car should easily be able to run 11's. Still a win is a win! One of our group did a vid. If it gets on youtube I'll post it.
Your story sounds like mine. Except my sister is older and knows better then to call me out. She knows my Camaro would do her in, so I would not even have to fire up the ole GSX or Skylark. In fact my sister drives her GT like a "Little Old Lady" and would not consider the track.
back in the day, I did basicly the same thing,,, my folks 56 super cpe. vs a ford fairlane tbird engine with 2x4's....while he was sitting there spinning, the Super hooked up and went..... he never tried me again..... :laugh::laugh:
