My gasket kit from TA didn't come with the rubber end rail gaskets for the intake. Normally I would just use silicone but there is about a 1/4 inch gap there and I'm not sure I trust silicone for that big of gap. What do you guys think?

    I'd call TA

The rubber seals are good. :TU:

I made an aluminum belly pan out of scrap flat aluminum. I used a normal sized silicone bead on both sides of it then put the manifold on. My gap was huge as well. Two years on it. This setup is also a good fix for an oil sucking pcv on the back of the TA manifold. AMP in Philpot, Kentucky sells these belly pans if you want a pre-made one.

I have three years on my intake with only RTV black making up a 1/4" gap.
I let it set up for a week to make sure it was cured before firing up the motor for the first time.
    side note...
I have had the rubber end pieces spit out/get sucked into the engine.
Just make sure the metal is perfectly clean. I like to wipe everything down with brake cleaner.
