I can remember as a youngster looking at funny bumper stickers on an old school rack spinning it around and reading them and laughing. No cell phones just old school beeper maybe. What do you remember that was funny a bumper sticker or license plate frame... My cousin as a kid he had a frame on his truck that said ... STAY HEALTHY EAT YOUR HUNNY
I dont have a pic of the bumper sticker, but I remember when I was about 10 y/o Lenny Scheer used to speed around the neighborhood in his dads light green Ford wagon, sticker said " Drive like hell, you'll get there " This was in the mid '70s, the wagon was IIRC a 68/69 full size,

With two stick figures humping

I didn't get it at the time, but my dad had a license plate frame that said "Save a tree, eat a beaver" on his Mazda B2000.

I recall in the 70's every car had one of these on the back window, before they seemed to take on a whole new meaning in the 90's....
I have been in Seattle for over 30 years now and this is/was usually a Ballard(commercial fishing area) thing. I am pretty sure it is Norwegian related? Better info above ;~)
I was following a green Chevy in Wellesley, MA some years ago. The bumper sticker on the rear of the car said "Honk if you love Jesus." To see what would happen I gave a polite little toot. The woman driving the Chevy immediately gave me the middle finger salute - with three little kids in the car.
On my co workers little Datsun pickup years ago: My old lady can't wrestle, but you outta see her box!
In the late 80's or early's 90's a friend gave me a sticker that said "Jesus, protect me from your followers." Although I found it funny I never put it on a car, who needs that kind of trouble.
