Looking for a dashpot and bracket for a 1960 Lesabre w/ the 364 2BBL engine, anybody have one or an idea where to find one?

What's a dashpot? Sounds kinda like el roacho as Chong would say lol
You talking about the ash tray insert in the front dash?

A Dashpot is a gizmo that lets the accelerator rod slowly close the carb butterflys. Keeps the car from stalling when you let off on the gas.

Thanks Fred I honestly didn't know, thought MAYBE was a choke part. I do have any extra ashtray but got the 364 carb on my 401

Thanks for the info, I purchased the dash pot and inquired about the bracket. I was told I didn't need the dashpot if I had the idle set between a certain rage but when I let off the gas and turn a corner it sometimes stalls out.

Then there's more wrong than just the dashpot. When you go around a corner your foot is off the go pedal & the dashpot would be collapsed. So there's something going on more than the dashpot.
