And now I have to go on travel on and off for the next month, If I can just get a couple more good weeks it'll be on the road.
WOW,thats beautiful, you added the perfect touch with those wheels too, looks awesome, good luck. Thanks:TU:
SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET! As much as I'm lusting after your GS, I gotta ask. Whats with the cherry looking IH Scout?
Hey Len,whats the weather like out there, from the pics of your car it looks pretty damn warm unlike here in the Northeast, its like 5* right now:af: ,i gotta move outta here, anyone hiring out west?:Brow:
Len, what a beauty!! :TU: Reminds me of a similar 68 'vert that was on ebay a couple years ago, up in Canada. You'll have it done and drive it out to the BPG meet in OH in August, right? Man, what a road trip that would be! :3gears:
Hey, is your hood scoop bare, or painted? Can't quite tell, but it looks like bare SS to me?? Mine is bare, I would like to have it painted eventually. I really like the painted factory stock look. Especially with all the scratches on mine from someone removing the original paint...
Dave, My scoop is chromed(rechromed actually), it was chromed when I got it as was the one on my parts car, I think some dealers must have done it as an appearance option or something. George, I'm happy to report that it's a chilly 63 here today, weatherman lied, he said it would get to 68. Wheels (color combo) came off better than I could have hoped. James, The Scout is my daily driver and parts getter, it's got 165,000 on the original 345 engine and drive train, bought it from the original owner in Phoenix a few years back, he was 63 when he bought it new in 1978 so it didn't see anything but blacktop all it's life. I do have to put it down either this summer or next for a refresh, and it'll probably be time for a little something extra under the hood  .
Lookin' REAL good Len! :TU: George, C'mon out here and bring those GS's, we'll find you something to do.
OOOOHHHHH....AHHHHHHHHH silver is so underestimated for making a beautiful car more beautiful. The wheels are icing on the cake.
Looks Terrific Len! :TU: And now I know what wheels I will be using on my '68... if in fact I ever get around to restoring it..
WowowoW !! Just what this world needs....another BEAUTIFUL GS Cruisin' the Roads GREAT Job Len :TU: :TU:
