    I prefer to paint all the panels at the same time on the car but if i cant i still paint all the panels at the same time and in the same position as if they were on the car. Just how the paint flows makes a difference sometime, even if the temps/humidity is the same and the paint is from the same cup. Doing the whole panel at once can even make a difference. I saw my old boss start in the middle of a hood once doing a whole car, he went all the way around the car before he finished the hood. The roof and trunk were no issue as the 2 halves were painted together fairly quick but you could see a big difference in the hood. I have no idea why he did it that way but he never did it again. The car was gold in color.
