5x5" need a 3.5" hole in the center. just broke one of my aluminum break drums putting a chevy truck 5x5 on it. Man, i'm so sick and tired of this wheel thing. The ones on it are trailer wheels! so ghetto i can't even stand to think about it. how about a front disc brake kit while we're at it. see cpp on summit for about $600 but if anybody has a brake drum for sale let me know please.

It means “To The Top” for your thread. It is a friendly attempt to give your thread more visibility.

I suggest that for best results your search for a the brake drum be moved to the Parts Wanted section of the Board. Maybe the whole thread should be moved to that section.

I have two I just removed from a '61 LeSabre. Problem is I'm on the opposite side of the country.
I have cut the hub on the '61's down to the normal size. I do it on my brake lathe.

i just write 'bump' but cutting them would have stopped me from cracking them. a friend of mine has two he will sell me for $300. an ebay guy wants $130 for one but $56 to ship. is seems like just getting these two and selling my current one would probably be best, but then i have to deal with shipping the drum, but it's not an engine or a door. i found a kit for front discs for $650 here: https://www.jamcosuspension.com/products/sfID1/33/sfID2/42/sfID3/234/sfID4/35/productID/2792. i'm sure like my friend you wouldnt just want to sell one anyway. thanks tho. just found out about the 2 for 3 deal today. ps. since i have this window up on a 64 gto up the street, i'll post it: email for it: 458146a34cfc35118127a3a9bfb9f444@sale.craigslist.org
    site of c.l. ad: https://bellingham.craigslist.org/cto/d/deming-1964-gto/6934177174.html **** if i had 3000 i'd go get it right now :(

I have access to a 63 Olds Holiday 88. It has front drums with the 5 X 5 pattern and LH studs on L side. Same? Car is clean and near my home in dona Ana New Mexico. Dave S

Thx NMguy, but i got no idea whatsoever, when it comes to BOP there is no such thing until 66 i believe. before that it's anybodys guess, everything is different as far as i know. it might as well be Ford Chevy. so>?

Yep re read your original post. No the oldsmobile holiday 88 drums are not aluminum, like you need.

well i'm not saying i need them. if i knew what kind of steel or iron ones were out there and fit, i would use them since they'd be so much cheaper than the aluminum ones. except for shipping which would cost a lot more. These stockers are so wide that they rub the damned backing plate!!! i have to wonder just how stock there are anyway.
