Went to traffic court yesterday in Hyattsville, MD just outside DC..... I've never seen anything like it.....about 10 cops in there but still about 10 cases were thrown out due to cops not being present. And I'm talking seroius stuff like one person: driving on suspended liscense, tags from another car and speeding 88 in 55. Lady just walked out with a smile.....as did many others. It was like a revolving door.....something is going on. I suspect that they are paying off the cops not to show.....I don't care if the cops get overtime for showing up....the payoffs are alot more$$$ so they stay away. All they do is look on the ticket and contact the corrupt cop..... Don't take this the wrong way, there are alot of good cops but some are odorous...... :rant: Bruce
