MSD Super conductor wires. Spiral core construction, 50 ohms/foot, part# 31373 fits BBC with points distributor. Works pretty good for the BBB.

    Larry,

Do you have a photo of these wires on your car?

I run Accel's 8.8mm spiral wound wires on the 462" engine in my roadster.
They fit into the sockets of the Unilite distributor with no problems.

The boots and plugs bendable connectors are good stuff and gave me no problems with removing them. Which was done many times.

The first set lasted ten years and are probably ok, but I replaced them a while back just cuz....

If you look close at my avatar, you'll see the plug wires were strung using Moroso's blue HD spark plug wire separators and supported by Adel clamps.
Makes for a nice plug wire retainment system and best of all the cost is very low.

It may be better to separate #5 & #7 cylinders a little further or cross them over, but the way they're set up works fine.

The remainder of the ignition is an MSD 6al box under the cowl vent and a Jacobs oil filled coil.
It's been a trouble free setup for 11 years and 41,000 miles.
