spare tire

Needed; the countersunk sheet metal wing nut that secures the round masonite spare tire cover. PM me here please.

 

You mean you need the threaded wing nut that secures the washer?I have one of those and .if needed, the rod. Bruno.

 

thanks for the reply. the pic above shows the part. theres a real steel wing nut that secures the tire with the jack foot, then the fiberboard cover for "looks" and this threaded piece holds that down to the tire

 

You can buy those new from the parts place..

 

Yeah, I know, Ive seen them there Brian. Like 20.00 plus shipping. The floor drain plugs are 3.99 as well with an 8.95 padded envelope. Ill find one out junking some day or just make one. Thanks for responding! How many of those got tossed over the shoulder at bone yards, ya know?

I have a couple wing nuts,I don't see it in the picture,that would be about 1/2 inch wide and about 3 inches long.If that's the one you need.I don't have the round one.Bruno.
