Trying to see the demand for a few items, located at a junkyard near me, maybe i can make an extra little $ and help out some members.

The car is a 1971 GS, body tag checks out. Will post the info when i see the car. It might be salvageable, but would need ALOT of work. Bottom of fenders, doors and quarters are rusted through. Vynil roof, extensive rust, some holes. Floors are almost all rusted through, trunk has holes. Used to be a bench seat car, with white interior, no A/C, no power windows, locks or seats.

    Heres whats left (maybe).

-The dash cluster, includes Rallye gauge, speedo (cant remember if it has the speed alert) and possibly a clock. Its solid, no scratches, the chrome is so so....
-Dash pad, non A/C option, one vent on driver side, one vent on passenger side, no vent in the middle. (otherwise i would have taken it)
-Some glass is still there and stainless trim is good.
-GS front bumper, with vertical bumper guards. Chrome is so so, wouldnt look bad on a car, but rechroming always makes it better. No pitting. has no peeling also if i remember correctly.
    -Disc brakes in the front
-GS rocker panel moldings, correct red paint.
-door skins, and parts of the seats are left. The covers are good but the frame, and the cardboard on the skins is done.

From what i remember, these parts are still in good shape, i already snagged the grille and emblems, no trunk lid and sheet metal is pretty bad. If you guys can think of anything else, i will be down there in a couple of weeks, i can have a closer look. Car use to belong to a canadian air force troop, i think the car was just used as a "company car" and later junked. Seems as though all the damage occured in the junk yard.

If there is alot of interest, ill go get these parts and start the bidding.

    Thanks.
