Watch ebay, they're offered on there by a guy in Missouri who makes them. Last time I saw one, it was around $400. The headlights on this particular car are mounted behind the stock '63/'64 turn signal housings. I think they're Jaguar units. Ed
lug nuts I'm sorry that I don't know where you can find that grill but I was hoping you could tell me where I might find a set of lug nuts for a '65 Riviera. It came with Acorn 1/2 x 20 nuts that are only about 1.25 inches tall and we can't seem to find any anywhere? I'm helping my brother-in-law who bought the car new and has had it the whole time. It's all redone except for the wheels and nuts. Any ideas or leads would be helpful. There are two pictures included, one is my '58 Vette and the other is the Riviera BEFORE the restoration. It didn't look too bad even before but is a lot better now. Thanks, Jim
The original lug nuts on your '65 Riv would have been steel nuts with a chrome plated tin cover over it and wouldn't have been that long. The best thing to do is replace all of them with solid nuts. I've been able to find them at almost any jobber in their custom wheel application aisle. 1/2 x 20 with a tapered seat shouldn't be that hard to find. I found left hand threaded ones for my '63. Here's what you can get for that car through Advance Auto - first alphabetically on my list. http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/we...t---Custom-Wheel_970_R|GRPWHELAMS__lug nut___ May I also suggest for those of you who have a newly purchased Riviera to check out the website for the Riviera Owners Assn. www.rivowners.org and check out the online forums link. It will lead you to the ROA section of the Antique Auto Club of America www.aaca.org , the RivList on the Yahoo Groups, and the original ROA tech tips site. Ed
