Buyer beware on this sender. Bought it for my 71 GS and the part is engineered wrong. The pipes are too tall coming out of the sender so when you install the tank, the tank doesn't fit flush against the floor. Instead, the tank teeter toters on the outlet pipe. Secondly, the ground wire is installed pointing "up" instead of at a right angle to the sender. You would need to drill a hole in the trunk floor the way they attached it. Idiots. I'm 100% convinced that none of these companies test fit these parts to an actual car. I cant wait to hear the "gee, your the only one that's ever complained" line from them
