Sport mirror noise?

This noise has been driving me nuts since I put my car back on the road. My Buick used to be quiet at speed with the big chrome mirror. Now there's a wind noise I get at speeds above 50 and I've been thinking it was the windows all this time. I've spent quite a bit of time adjusting the windows so they fit into the gaskets perfectly but the noise is always there. I've been wondering if it could be the mirrors. I never had sport mirrors before so I don't know if they are noisy. I know for a fact that they are not at the proper angle. This causes them to be a little closer to the window than they should be. Is that my problem? I know how to fix the angle and I will soon. Any help or experience in this area will be greatly appreciated.
